Taw Naw High School
Taw Naw High School is a private school
established in 1999, at Thay Baw Boe village, SuKlee Township Karen State in
Burma.
Our mission is to provide a good quality of Education for the children; to build children to study freely with their rights; to save the children from the drugs and human trafficking and to maintain Karen Education and culture.

In
2015-2016 academic, 247 students study in Taw Naw High School KG-A, KG-B to
Grade-10. Most of students are from various villages such as Maw Ker Htat, Wa
Mee Htat, Lay Gaw, etc.. Some students have to stay in dormitory because their neglected
and underprivileged; their village is very far from here and 90% of students
are from poor families. They have to study 10-month academic year (June –
March) to learn 9 subjects: 1.Mathematics 2. English 3. Karen 4. Burmese 5.
Geography 6. Science Computer 8. History 9. Thai
We
have (16) teachers and we also from various villages. We all are full time
teachers. We cooperate with more than 5 schools SuKlee Township,
such Ta Oo Htat, Maw Ker Htat, Wa Mee Htat and Lay Gaw. We are supported
by student's parents and Karen Education Department.
